We built a high-performance legal automation platform powered by Scala and Akka, enabling fast, fault-tolerant, and highly concurrent Q&A-driven document creation. A Spark-based validation layer performs large-scale semantic checks to ensure document accuracy and consistency. Istio provides secure, zero-trust communication and reliable traffic management across services. AI guidance is managed through a controlled MLOps pipeline, improving explanations and classifications without affecting final legal outputs.
Together, these technologies deliver a streamlined, reliable system where users create compliant documents through simple conversations, and lawyers receive structured, review-ready inputs that significantly cut time and cost.

Delivering real-time legal intelligence at scale
Creating an adaptive Q&A-driven legal platform required far more than a traditional backend. Real-time semantic checks, consistency validation, and dynamic question branching demanded a highly concurrent, fault-tolerant architecture. We achieved this by building a distributed core in Scala with Akka, complemented by Apache Spark for large-scale document analysis.
This stack enabled us to handle thousands of simultaneous sessions while delivering meaningful improvements in days rather than months.
Ensuring reliability and compliance across a complex microservice ecosystem
Supporting regulated legal workflows across multiple jurisdictions required enterprise-grade stability, security, and predictable deployments. With dozens of microservices interacting across environments, keeping operational overhead low was a significant challenge. We addressed this by implementing an Istio service mesh with zero-trust communication and adopting a GitOps-driven release pipeline.
Combined with a disciplined MLOps approach for AI components, this enabled consistent reliability, rapid rollbacks, and compliance-ready auditability at scale.
